Killingholme Primary School - Groundbreaking

The Ceremonial Groundbreaking for Killingholme Primary School's new Enterprise Centre occurred on Monday, May 19th, ahead of TG Sowerby Developments starting on site next month.

The project will see a new room constructed at the school which will be an 'Enterprise Centre' allowing Killingholme Primary School's pupils to learn the basics of running a business.

The ceremonial groundbreaking was carried out by Mayor of North Lincolnshire, Councillor Trevor Foster and Lord Haskins of the Local Enterprise Partnership. After this, pupils from the school 'arrived on-site' with hard hats, high-vis vests and riding diggers and dumpers. TG Sowerby Developments' Steve Sowerby was asked to inspect these works and told the pupils, "You have put on an excellent show. You are all hired."

Works on the project will begin in earnest next month and are scheduled to finish in September 2014.

This is a project that T.G. Sowerby Developments Limited have been involved with from the start, having assisted Killingholme Primary School with their bid to secure the funding from Phillips66 in April 2013 and we are very pleased that we will now be delivering it for them.
