New Starters at Ermine Grove

Chris Sowerby welcomes several new members of the team on site at Ermine Grove, Broughton

The Residential Development at Ermine Grove, Broughton, has seen a number of new faces join its team.

Luigi Scatola has joined the firm as a Labourer and Groundworker, Tom Mason has joined as an Apprentice Plasterer and Chris Gardner has come to the Site on Work Experience from North Lindsey College.

Chris Sowerby, the Site Manager and a Director of T.G. Sowerby Developments said, "Projects such as this are an excellent opportunity for people starting out on their careers to gain practical experience of their chosen trade in Construction. In addition to Tom, who will be working under the watchful eye of his brother Stephen who has previously completed a Plastering Apprenticeship with our firm, we have a number of Bricklaying and Joinery apprentices on this site, working and learning alongside our experienced, skilled tradesmen and it is extremely rewarding to see them develop their skills in a real world context. In years to come, they will be able to look back with pride at the work they did on this development."

The Ermine Grove Residential Development is the re-development of a site owned by North Lincolnshire Homes (part of ONGO). The project has seen the defunct Ermine Grove Building demolished, to be replaced with 13 Code Level 3 Homes, which will be completed in 2016.
