The new housing development at St Lawrence’s Road in Scunthorpe has been handed back to Ongo Homes nearly two months ahead of schedule.
The construction of the four new detached and semi-detached houses on the site at St Lawrence’s Road was completed in just seven months, rather than the nine that was programmed.
Site Manager Chris Sowerby said, “Being able to deliver this project so far ahead of schedule is immensely rewarding. With Ongo getting the properties back at the start of December, their tenants will be moved-in in time for Christmas.
The comments we were getting whilst the project was going on and at handover were all extremely positive.
Our tradesmen have delivered their usual high quality of finish, with Apprentices and Work Experience Students working alongside them all through the project. This is the first new build housing project which has been completed by our new Plumbing and Heating Division and we are delighted with the job that the team has turned out.
From start to finish, this job has gone extremely well and it is one I will look back on with pride.”
