The development was built on the site of the Former Maple Leaf Pub on Quebec Road, Scunthorpe. The pub was demolished to make way for a development of 9 houses, built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
The site retained the memory of its former use with the name of the development, 'Maple Leaf Mews'.
