Servery at Swinefleet School

Extensions and Alterations to Swinefleet Primary School, to Create a New Servery

Project: Extensions and Alterations at Swinefleet Primary School to Create a New Servery

Client: East Riding of Yorkshire District Council

Site Manager: Darren Cupitt

Completion: September 2015

The New Servery at Swinefleet Primary School was built during the 2015 Summer Holidays, in time for the Autumn 2015 Term starting, giving us a little over six weeks to complete the build!

The project involved construction a small extension to the school, which was designed to blend into the existing school building and some internal alterations. Internally, the room was fitted out with catering equipment, bespoke for the school's requirement. We also carried out some works to the units in the staffroom, recarpeted the entrance hall and the Reception Hatch was taken out and replaced with a bespoke unit, manufactured in our Joiners Shop.

The project was completed on time for the start of term, meaning the school was able to use the servery immediately.

This was the first project we have carried out at Swinefleet School and for East Riding of Yorkshire District Council. The feedback we had from the school was extremely positive and we are very pleased with the project that we delivered.
