Construction of a New Build Pavillion for the Retford Lawn Tennis Club
Project: Construction of a New Clubhouse for Retford Lawn Tennis Club, at Trinity Hospital, Retford
Client: Trinity Estates
Site Manager: Steve Lyon
Completion: September 2015
This project involved the Construction of a new, purpose-built, clubhouse for Retford Lawn Tennis Club, in the grounds of Trinity Hospital, Retford, completed as part of a larger scheme of works at Trinity Hospital.
The building is a 'traditional' brick and block build, however Cedar Cladding was also incorporated in order to enhance the building's outline.
Inside, the building is comprised of a main 'clubhouse' room, including a kitchen and changing room facilities for the club. Sustainability was incorporated into the project, with the water heated by an Air-Source Heat Pump. The Building is extremely energy efficient, achieving an 'A' rating.
Externally, a new car park with access from the main road has been formed for the Tennis Club's use.
The Construction Phase of the project ran from May to September 2015, and was formally handed over on October 9th.
This was a very enjoyable project to be a part of and we are extremely proud of the project which was delivered.
